There are no monthly fees or connection charges for using OneSimCard international cell phone service.

If you order an optional Personal Extra Number (PEN), there is a small periodic fee to keep the PEN active based on how you choose to be billed (from $1.67 per month). For Universal, Expedition, and eSIM World SIM cards, many U.S. and Canadian carriers can charge more than $3/minute to connect to an Estonian mobile number, the primary mobile number for a OneSimCard global SIM card. Your SIM card includes a U.S. number which will be much less expensive for people to call.

Callers can also use one of the Common Access Numbers (CAN) that we provide to you free of charge in more than 10 countries. Your OneSimCard account will simply be charged an additional 20c/min to the incoming rate in the country you are in to receive those calls. There is also the option of ordering a dedicated Personal Extra Number (PEN) in Canada and many other countries that will forward all calls directly to your OneSimCard cell phone. If you would prefer for the caller to pay for calls made, we recommend they buy Peanuts Prepaid. Using this service would guarantee a connection to your OneSimCard mobile phone from the U.S and Canada for 20c/min and it is very easy to use without switching your LD carrier.

For DataMax and DataMax eSIM, if you chose to use SIM VOIP app, your friends and family will call the PEN number you are assigned, so in most cases, there will be no tariff for them to call you, and the cost to receive the call is only $0.01/Minute.

It does not cost more to dial an international mobile number using OneSimCard service on traditional cellular connections. You will receive the same very low per minute rate whether calling to a mobile phone or to a land line. 

 

For OneSim VoIP, the cost of calling Mobile numbers is typically higher than calling landlines, but this method is still less than traditional voice calls in most countries..

Yes. There are a few options available if your phone is locked to the carrier that sold you the phone.

• Try contacting the carrier to see if they unlock it for you.

• You can purchase a travel phone bundle with the SIM at

To make a call:

• Dial 00-CountryCode-AreaCode-Number and press the TALK/SEND button.
  Example: To call OneSimCard Support in the USA you would dial 00 1 617 3138888 and press TALK/SEND. 

With Europe & More, Univesal and eSIM World that do not use the callback to make a call, you will just get connected.
 
With OneSimCard Plus SIM or Expedition (formerly Data & Roam) SIMs:

After pressing the TALK/SEND button you will see a variable message on the screen (for example 'Wait for call') which you can ignore and your phone will ring back in a few seconds. Answer this ring as you normally would answer any incoming call. Your call will then be connected.

For DataMax, and DataMax eSIM cards, you can place calls using our low cost OneSIM VoIP service. OneSim VoIP costs much less than traditional voice roaming.

Direct Dial calling allows the caller to enter the international  call prefix, country calling code and telephone number and then be directly connected to the person they are calling. This is how you dial when using your regular mobile service. Direct Dial Calling is standard on the OneSimCard Europe & More, OneSimCard Universal and eSIM.

Callback calling also allows the caller to enter the international  call prefix, country calling code and telephone number. After the called number is entered, the user immediately receives an incoming call connecting the user to person called. Callback is very simple to use and allows for low cost calling on the OneSimCard Plus and OneSimCard Expedition (formerly Data & Roam). Callback does not increase the connection time. It is the same as with Direct Dial.

Local carriers in Saudi Arabia sometimes block standard OneSimCard outgoing calls. If this happens you need to either (a) enter a compatibility code into the settings of your phone or (b) initiate your call by sending an SMS message from the regular SMS menu (not the OneSimCard menu) of your phone.

How To Activate Compatibility Mode:

0. Open "OneSimCard" menu
0. Select "Settings"
0. Agree with message by pressing "Yes"
0. Dial digits "802" and select "OK" (screen will show message "output channel is SMS")

Bear in mind that if you have powered your telephone down and removed and reinstalled the battery, you will need to follow the programming steps outlined above again.

How To Deactivate Compatibility Mode:

0. Open "OneSimCard" menu
0. Select "Settings"
0. Agree with message by pressing "Yes"
0. Dial digits "801" and select "OK" (screen will show message "output channel is USSD")

How To Dial Without Activating Compatibility Mode:

Initiate your call by sending an SMS message from the regular SMS menu (not the OneSimCard menu) of your phone.

For example, to call from Saudi Arabia to Boston USA you should go to the SMS menu of the phone and send a message:
