No. DataMax, DataMax eSIM, OneSimCard Universal, Expedition and eSIM World service is a prepaid service. You will not be able to spend more than you put on the SIM, except when you set the automatic recharge of the SIM. Can I get rewarded for referring friends to OneSimCard?
Yes, you can! Our Refer a Friend program is available to all OneSimCard active account holders. For each friend you refer that purchases new service, you will receive $10 ($5 for rentals) deposited into your 1SIM Money Fund. The referral bonus will be received once the order for new service is placed, shipped and the 30-day return window has closed. You can then use these bonus awards to recharge your airtime or use toward any other purchases. There are no limits to the number of friends you can refer or the bonuses you can receive! What is the cost to make calls from a OneSimCard phone to another OneSimCard phone?
It depends on the country you're in when making the call. In many countries there is a special low rate of just $0.25/min to call another OneSimCard phone (only when dialing the other OneSimCard user's primary mobile number, not a Personal Extra Number). In other countries your cost will be our standard low outgoing call rate from that country.
Example: two OneSimCard users are in Italy and one calls the other, the cost will be $0.25/min for the caller and free for the receiver.
Visit our Rates & Coverage page and choose any country to view its current rates. Use the dropdown menus to see rates for calling to/from other countries.
PLEASE NOTE: If you activate a discount call plan, the special rate to make OneSimCard-to-OneSimCard calls will not be available. You will be charged for those calls according to the discount call plan rate.
Another great benefit of using OneSim VoIP: To call using the 1SIM VoIP App to another user on the 1SIM VoIP App, this call is free, so long as you are calling the PEN associated with their 1SIM VoIP App.
Is there a 911 emergency number in Europe that can be used with OneSimCard service?
Yes, in Europe the emergency number is 112. You can use 112 in Europe to report real emergencies to local authorities in the country of stay. The 3 digit number should be dialed directly without any additional digits in front of the number.
For DataMax and DataMax eSIM SIM cards, while there is no voice calling feature without the use of 1SIM VoIP, which doesn’t support emergency calling, most cell phones ALWAYS allow you to call emergency numbers, even without a SIM inserted into the phone. In Europe the emergency number is 112. You can use 112 in Europe to report real emergencies to local authorities in the country of stay. The 3 digit number should be dialed directly using the regular phone app (NOT the OneSim VoIP App) without any additional digits in front of the number.

Can I disable per MB/Pay-As-You-Go data usage for DataMax SIM cards
Yes you can. On your online account, in the "My SIM cards" menu, you will see a section labeled "Select SIM Card." In that section there is a line labeled "Use w/o Plan." If you do not want to use data on a per MB/Pay-As-You-Go basis, and only consume data with a data plan, set this to "Off."© 2006-2026 Belmont Telecom Inc., DBA OneSimCard.com. All rights reserved
