How do I make a call using OneSimCard global cell phone service?
To make a call:
With Europe & More, Univesal and eSIM World that do not use the callback to make a call, you will just get connected.

With OneSimCard Plus SIM or Expedition (formerly Data & Roam) SIMs:
After pressing the TALK/SEND button you will see a variable message on the screen (for example 'Wait for call') which you can ignore and your phone will ring back in a few seconds. Answer this ring as you normally would answer any incoming call. Your call will then be connected.

For Physical 3-in-1Â DataMax, and DataMax eSIM cards, you can place calls using our low cost OneSIM VoIP service. OneSim VoIP costs much less than traditional voice roaming.
Are there any discount SMS text message plans available in Europe or other countries?
Discount SMS from Europe and many other countries are available with OneSimCard Universal, OneSimCard Plus, Expedition (formerly Data & Roam) and Europe & More SIM cards.
Discount SMS 100 Plan
When activated, this plan provides 100 free classic SMS messages sent from Europe to any number in any country in the world. Messages should be sent from the normal SMS menu of your phone and NOT from the OneSimCard 'Travel SMS' menu. SMS plan will be effective for 30 calendar days after the activation took place. The plan can be activated from your OneSimCard web account. Activation cost is 10.00 USD. Â

When I make a call using OneSim VoIP the quality of the call is not as good as the quality of the regular roaming connection. Can this be improved?
The quality of a OneSim VoIP call is only defined by the quality of your Wi-Fi connection. This is the part of the connection that we can not control. Quality of the Wi-Fi connection is defined by many parameters, rather than just by the speed of the connection. With a good Wi-Fi connection the quality of the call will be similar to using our regular roaming network.How does OneSim VoIP work when the call is received?
When someone dials your OneSim VoIP enabled Personal Extra Number (PEN), the system will first check if your OneSimCard phone is registered with the OneSim VoIP app on a Wi-Fi network. If it is registered, the call will be sent using VoIP. If the OneSim VoIP app is not running or it is not registered on a Wi-Fi network, then the call will be sent using the standard OneSimCard roaming network and charged our standard roaming rates.Can I send an SMS to or from a Common Access Number or Personal Extra Number?
You can't send SMS to a Common Access Number (CAN). Common Access Numbers and majority of Personal Extra Numbers are for Voice Calls only.
We recommend that SMS senders use our free online SMS or email-to-SMS functions as described in the user manual and our FAQs.

Note:Â US and Canada PEN can receive only actual mobile SMS from mobile phones. Alert and verification SMS sent from web sites like Google, Yahoo or your bank will not be delivered to US or Canada PENs due to the way these web sites send their messages.Â
If you require some alerts SMS sent from banks and other institutions, we offer special US-SMS Bank Verification PEN that will be able to receive SMS from mobile numbers as well as from institutions used for 2 step verification processes.
How do I top up my data with eSIM?
There are two ways you can do this:
Simply go onto your web account or eSIM app and purchase a new data package appropriate to your travel needs.
Do I need to have Data Roaming turned on for eSIM to work?
Yes. Data Roaming should be enabled on your phone for eSIM for data to work. Calls and texts on eSIM World should work with or without it.
When making an outgoing call how do I select which way the call should go: through regular roaming or through OneSim VoIP?
To make an outgoing call using OneSim VoIP, you need to be registered on a Wi-Fi network and have the OneSim VoIP app running on your phone. You should make the call using the OneSim VoIP app dial pad. To make a call the regular roaming way,you should make a call from your regular phone dial pad.Â
NOTE: Regular roaming calling is NOT available on DataMax or DataMax eSIM cards. To use voice you will need to use the OneSim VoIP app
Where can I find the settings required to be entered into the OneSim VoIP app?
Once you create the OneSim VoIP account, you will be emailed settings and instructions. You can also see the settings in the My SIM Cards menu of your online account.Can I use OneSim VoIP over the Internet Data offered by OneSimCard SIM? Will it save me anything?
In countries where the cost of using mobile Internet Data is below 20 c/MB, the cost of using SIM VoIP over the data is comparable or less than the actual calling rate from the country.
As a rule of thumb, the SIM VoIP will use 1MB /Min of talk time. So, if the cost of Data in the country is 10 c/MB, then 1 minute SIM VoIP call will cost you 12 cents /minute. You need to have a 3G connection in order for SIM VoIP to work this way.Â
