I have more than one Personal Extra Number (PEN). Can I use different PENs for OneSim VoIP?
If you have more than one OneSim VoIP enabled PEN you can switch between these PENs for the purpose of the OneSim VoIP account. This option is available in the My SIM Cards menu in your online account.Do you offer an eSIM option for iPhones, Androids or Tablets?
Yes. The OneSimCard eSIM option is available for use with iOS and Android phones, smart watches and even Windows tablets.
eSIM is not a physical SIM, but rather a program that can be downloaded to eSIM compatible phones and device.

 Note: iPhonesmanufactured for the Chinese Market have 2 physical SIM card slots and are not eSIM capable. Pixel 3a can't use eSIM if the phone was purchased in Japan, or if bought with Verizon or Charter service.How does OneSim VoIP work when the call is received?
When someone dials your OneSim VoIP enabled Personal Extra Number (PEN), the system will first check if your OneSimCard phone is registered with the OneSim VoIP app on a Wi-Fi network. If it is registered, the call will be sent using VoIP. If the OneSim VoIP app is not running or it is not registered on a Wi-Fi network, then the call will be sent using the standard OneSimCard roaming network and charged our standard roaming rates.Is text messaging available on the OneSim VoIP App?
OneSimCard SIM VoIP users with US and Canadian numbers may now send and receive text messages over the OneSim VoIP app on iPhone and Android. The cost to sending a message is $0.05 per text to most countries. Receiving message is $0.05. Â

Can eSIM be used for Data, Calls and Texts?
Yes, as of March 3rd, 2020, OneSimCard eSIM can be used for Mobile Data, Voice and Texts. However, you can still use the OneSim VOIP app option with a Personal Extra Number (PEN) for additional savings on calling and texting

For DataMax eSIMs, only Data is available. However, you can use our OneSim VoIP app for cost effective voice and SMS communication.
How do I set up SMS text messaging on my phone?
SMS messaging usually works without any additional setup of the phone.
In rare cases when there are issues sending or receiving text messages, please look at the following:

 Problem with Receiving SMS:
I just activated my SIM card and can't make a successful test call. What's wrong?
If you just activated your SIM card and can not make a test call by following the instructions in the user manual, you will likely just need to power off the phone and power it back on again. The phone should automatically re-register with one of our partner networks. Remember, if you answer the test call when it rings you will be charged for the call.Do I need to activate the SIM card when my order is received or purchased from a retail store?
Yes, you will need to activate the SIM card once the order is received.
All OneSimCard international SIM cards and international cell phones with SIM cards are shipped inactive to prevent theft and improve security. Only the person who placed the order for OneSimCard service can activate it.
Activation is very simple: When you receive the SIM, just log in to your account at www.OneSimCard.com and click the large Activate button you will see in the middle of the screen.
Retail Customers: If you purchased your SIM card through an online or brick-and-mortar retail store, you should have received activation instructions inside the product packaging. To activate retail SIM cards, go to www.OneSimCard.com/Retail enter your new OneSimCard international mobile number and fill out the form to register and activate the SIM card. You will be provided specific instructions on the registration page.
Does calling a mobile phone cost more than calling a landline?
It does not cost more to dial an international mobile number using OneSimCard service on traditional cellular connections. You will receive the same very low per minute rate whether calling to a mobile phone or to a land line.Â

For OneSim VoIP, the cost of calling Mobile numbers is typically higher than calling landlines, but this method is still less than traditional voice calls in most countries..

Are there any additional roaming charges?
There are NO additional roaming charges.
