I have an Verizon or Sprint Smart Phone ( iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, HTC, etc). Will OneSimCard work with my phone?
Verizon and Sprint now offer dual mode - CDMA and GSM phones, which are capable of working on GSM networks. You can request Verizon and Sprint to unlock the GSM portion of the phone for international travel and they will most likely do this for you. However, Verizon and Sprint usually does not unlock phones 100% - they do this partially, so you are not able to use the phone while in USA.
In such Verizon and Sprint phones you can get invalid message when inserting OneSimCard SIM or your phone does not find US networks. Verizon and Sprint unlock their phones in such a way that you can't use it in USA, but once you are out of the country the SIM will be accepted. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell the difference with this kind of unlocking if the phone is not unlocked or partially unlocked to work only outside of USA. In our experience, once this kind of phone leaves USA, it starts working.
How do I install my eSIM?
Before purchasing, please ensure you have verified that your device is unlocked and one of the supported devices. Installation is completed by using your phone to scan the QR code of the purchased eSIM. You may scan the QR code by displaying it on the computer screen, another device, or a printed copy.
If you’ve already purchased OneSimCard eSIM, you can see full installation instructions and access your QR code from the Recharge menu in your online account. Make sure eSIM is selected in the Select SIM Card drop down menu.
If you have not purchased your eSIM yet, learn more about international eSIM here.
Can I move Personal Extra Numbers (PENs) between SIM cards in my account?
Yes, you can move PENs within both private and corporate accounts. There is a small fee per PEN transfer which will be deducted from the SIM card the PEN is being moved to. If there is not enough money on this SIM, the fee will be deducted from the SIM the PEN is being moved from. If neither SIM card has enough balance, you’ll have an option to recharge. Transaction records will be posted under the History menu.
Can I install my OneSimCard eSIM more then once?
You can re-install the eSIM on the same phone up to 10 times if required. You can't move eSIM to another phone. It can be installed only on a single phone. If you need to install eSIM on another phone, please order a new eSIM. Balance and PEN(s) from the old eSIM can be moved to a new eSIM at your request. How much does it cost to receive a call with OneSimCard?
Receiving calls is free in over 150 countries when received on your primary European phone number, including in most of Europe. To receive a call on your U.S. number or other Personal Extra Number, there is an additional per minute rate added. View all international cell phone rates.
If you receive a call through a Common Access Number or Personal Extra Number (such as a U.S. number) there is an additional charge of 20c/min. In countries with free incoming calls this would be your only charge per call.
All incoming SMS text messages are free to receive when received on your primary European number. Add 9 cent per SMS when receiving text on US or Canada PEN.
What is the cost to make calls from a OneSimCard phone to another OneSimCard phone?
It depends on the country you're in when making the call. In many countries there is a special low rate of just $0.25/min to call another OneSimCard phone (only when dialing the other OneSimCard user's primary mobile number, not a Personal Extra Number). In other countries your cost will be our standard low outgoing call rate from that country.
Example 1: two OneSimCard users are in Italy and one calls the other, the cost will be $0.25/min for the caller and free for the receiver.
Visit our Rates & Coverage page and choose any country to view its current rates. Use the dropdown menus to see rates for calling to/from other countries.
PLEASE NOTE: If you activate a discount call plan, the special rate to make OneSimCard-to-OneSimCard calls will not be available. You will be charged for those calls according to the discount call plan rate.
How much does it cost someone in the US or Canada to call to my OneSimCard cell phone?
Many U.S. and Canadian carriers can charge more than $3/minute to connect to an Estonian mobile number, the primary mobile number for a OneSimCard global SIM card. Your SIM card includes a U.S. number which will be much less expensive for people to call.
Callers can also use one of the Common Access Numbers (CAN) that we provide to you free of charge in more than 10 countries. Your OneSimCard account will simply be charged an additional 20c/min to the incoming rate in the country you are in to receive those calls. There is also the option of ordering a dedicated Personal Extra Number (PEN) in Canada and many other countries that will forward all calls directly to your OneSimCard cell phone. You can see the list of countries where PENs are available here:
You can order a Personal Extra Number when placing your order or later at any time by logging in to your account. Visit our Rates & Coverage page and choose any country to view all rates.
If you would prefer for the caller to pay for calls made, we recommend they buy Speaklonger. Using this service would guarantee a connection to your OneSimCard mobile phone from the U.S and Canada for 20c/min and it is very easy to use without switching your LD carrier.
Is there a monthly or 30-day credit card spending limit for OneSimCard service?
To reduce fraud, there is 30-day credit card spending limit set for each individual account. You will only be able to charge up to a certain amount during any 30-day period. You can see your current limit by logging in to your OneSimCard account and going to the Purchase History menu. There, you will find a Credit Card Authorization form available for download. If you would like to increase your monthly credit card spending limit, please download the Authorization form and submit it back to OneSimCard as instructed on the form. How do I order Discount Call, Text and Data plans?
