17. OneSim VoIP
    • What are the advantages of using OneSim VoIP?

The main advantages are significant cost savings and the ability to call from countries where there is no roaming coverage available.
OneSim VoiP can be used from any Android or Apple ( iOS) device to make international LD calls even when you are not traveling. OneSim VoIP does not require having OneSimCard SIM being installed in the phone. OneSim VoIP can be used with Wi-Fi or 3G/4G - no difference. You just need to have OneSimCard account with the SIM VoIP capable PEN. Calling using OneSim VoIP will cost most of the time less than any other way of calling.
OneSim VoIP is available with the following SIM cards: Plus, Expedition (formerly Data & Roam) and Europe & More.
18. OneSimCard Rentals
    • What Start Date, End Date and shipping method should I choose when placing my cell phone rental order?

All orders are shipped out based on the rental Start Date that you enter and your shipping method. The Start Date is the latest day that you will need your phone rental before you leave for your trip (usually a day or two before you leave). The End Date is the day your package must be postmarked by to avoid any late return fees. Rentals will ship out with enough time to make sure you receive your order a couple of days prior to your Start Date.

For example, if you place your rental order on August 15 with a Start Date of August 30 and choose Overnight shipping, we will ship your package on August 27 so it arrives on August 28.
19. OneSimCard Rentals
    • How can I set up the Personal Extra Number (PEN) on my rental order?

Once your order is processed and shipped, you will receive a notification email. At this point, you can log in to your account and:
      1. Activate your SIM card(s) (you should wait to activate until after you receive the package)
      2. Once the SIM is activated, you can set up the PEN. You will see the link on the screen in the Recharge Menu. The PEN activation is done instantly.

If you activate the Free US PEN and your travel is under 30 days, it will stay active for the duration of your travel. If you will be traveling for more than 30 days and require the use of the PEN beyond 30 days, you must renew your PEN for a fee before it expires.

Alternatively, you can order a PEN in your local area or in another country if you require one.

20. eSIM
    • How does eSIM works?

eSIM is not a physical SIM. It is a piece of software downloaded to a compatible phone. So there is no shipping involved with delivering eSIM.

eSIM makes your iPhone or Pixel phone to be a dual SIM phone. This means that you can use two sim cards on the phone at the same time. You can select which SIM card is used for calls and texts, and which one is used for data. You can select which sim card is to be the primary and which one not to be used. You can make these changes from the settings of your phone at any time. In short - eSIM offers greater flexibility to your eSIM compatible phone. It allows you to use the service provider of your choice - whether you are traveling or staying home.

OneSimCard eSIM can be installed only on a single device. It can't be moved to another device, but it can be re-installed on the original device up to 10 times if required.
