I have a Verizon or Sprint "World Phone"Â from BlackBerry, Samsung, LG KP series, etc., can I use it with OneSimCard?
Yes, if you have a World Phone from Verizon or Sprint such as the BlackBerry (Bold, Curve, Tour, Pearl, Storm, 8830); LG (Fathom); LG KP Series, HTC (Touch, Ozone, Imagio); Samsung (Saga, Intrepid, Renown) you can use it with OneSimCard service. It may only require the special dialing instructions below to make outgoing calls (there is no additional charge). Receiving calls is the same as with any other phone.
To make an outgoing call you may need to do the following:
Initiate your call by sending a free SMS message from the regular SMS menu (not the OneSimCard Menu) of a OneSimCard enabled phone:
For example, to call to Boston USA you should go to the SMS menu of the phone and send a message:
Â
Please Note:
1. You can not send this SMS from the SMS OneSimCard Menu of the phone, it must be sent using your phone's standard SMS function. You will not be charged for sending this SMS to 9146.
2. If you see on the screen that the message has not been sent, make sure that the SMS settings of your phone are correct and that the SMS Center number is set to: +3725099000
How do I prevent the service from expiring?
The OneSimCard phone number has no expiration, provided you made at least 1 call or sent an SMS once every 18 months.
However, the funds on the SIM expire 10 months after your last recharge. The minimum recharge amount is $25. You can keep the balance from expiring by simply recharging at least once every 10 months. If you let your balance expire, then all you need to do to get the service up and running again is to log in and add funds to your SIM card. Automatic recharge will be canceled if you let your funds expire.
How should I send an SMSÂ to get charged only 15 cents per text message?
There are two ways for SMS message to be sent:
Bear in mind that sending SMS messages to the abbreviated special SMS destinations like voting, music downloads, etc. will cost you $9.00 per message.

When I dial following your instructions it does not work. What's wrong?
This answer applies to SIM cards purchased before January 1, 2017.
Some phones, such as Samsung, some Motorola, Android and Apple iPhones, require special dialing instructions or simple OneSimCard settings menu changes in order to make calls.
It is possible to make almost any phone entirely compatible, so you can call directly without using the OneSimCard menu or *146* by following these simple programming instructions below.
How to activate compatibility mode:
 1. Locate OneSimCard Menu.
On iPhones it is called SIM Applications menu and is located under Settings- Phone menu
On Androids it is called SIM Toolkit app or OneSimCard app and it looks like one of the apps.
 Â
Bear in mind that if you have powered your telephone down, and have removed and reinstalled the battery, you will need to follow the programming steps outlined above, again.
If for any reason after entering compatibility code, you still do not get a ringback or you get the ringback the first time you make a call, but second time it would not work, please enter code 802 into the Service Code window instead of 1101 as provided above.
Â
iPhone users can download OneSimCard Assist App from iTunes that will takes care of the iphones compatibility issues, except for removing the ringback.
For example, calling to USA:Â Dial *146*0016175551212# and press the TALK (or SEND) button
The sequence *146* and # at the end can be used from any phone. However, most phones do not require it.
We strongly recommend you to watch very short video tutorials that will help you to understand how to make calls, SMS and data on your OneSimCard Phone.

Can I check my Voice Mail from a phone other than my OneSimCard phone?
Yes. You can access the Voice Mail from other phones. What should I do if my OneSimCard phone or SIM card is lost or stolen?
If your phone or SIM card is lost or stolen and automatic recharge is on, this could be a serious problem.
To prevent this, log in to your account and activate the option to block your service immediately after you notice your phone or SIM card is missing. You can find this option in the My SIM Cards menu. Your OneSimCard service for this SIM card number will be instantly blocked. The remaining balance on your lost SIM can be transferred to another SIM card on your account or you can order a replacement SIM card if you would like to keep your phone numbers from the lost SIM.
Alternatively, you can contact customer service online or call 001-617-313-8888 for assistance.
Can I use a OneSimCard phone to send an SMS message?
Of course you can! Simply send and receive SMS texts according to your phone's user manual or from the OneSimCard Menu. Receiving SMS is always free. Sending an SMS (text message) is $0.15 - $1.50 depending on the country.
SMS messages sent to a OneSimCard phone should always be sent to the main OneSimCard mobile number rather than to an optional Extra Number, with the exception of new SMS enabled numbers in USA, Canada and UK Mobile available since Jun 3rd, 2014. When replying from OneSimCard phone to the SMS received on USA or Canada SMS capable PEN using Europe & More sim or the Expedition SIM, the main number of the SIM that starts with 372 will be displayed on the text receiver phone. With the Universal SIM, you can select what caller ID will be shown on the SMS receiving party phone.
You can also send SMS messages from OneSim VOIP app at much lower rates.
You can also send a free SMS message to any OneSimCard customer from our web site or by sending email to 372XXXXXXXX@sms.onesimcard.com, where 372XXXXXXXX is the OneSimCard primary mobile phone number. The maximum number of daily SMS sent to the SIM over email or web is 25.
Please bear in mind that message should be sent in English characters. In addition, it should not be longer than 160 characters including spaces.
These 2 options of sending SMS by email provide completely free way of communicating, as it is usually free for you to send the email and costs nothing for the OneSimCard customer to receive a text message.

The battery in my phone does not last long? It got fully drained during the flight to Europe. Why?
There can be a number of reasons why a battery does not hold a charge. Excluding the possibility of it being a faulty battery, there is another important factor to consider. If your phone is not registered on a roaming network, the battery will drain very quickly as the phone is constantly searching for a network to register on. So, if you get on a 6 hour flight and do not turn the phone off, by the time you land at the airport your battery will be drained and you will not be able to call back home.
The same thing will happen in those areas with spotty or weak signal network coverage - the battery will drain very fast. It is always a good idea to have an extra battery with you when you travel abroad.
I have an iPhone and am receiving charges for SMS sent to a UK mobile number 447786205094. Why?
This is a known issue with Apple's Facetime and iMessage applications on Apple iPhone devices. We recommend disabling Facetime and iMessage so it will not be able to automatically send SMS to this 447786205094 number. Any SMS sent to this number automatically by your phone can not be refunded by OneSimCard. Additional questions regarding iPhone applications and how they communicate should be directed to Apple Support.© 2006-2022 Belmont Telecom Inc., DBA OneSimCard.com. All rights reserved
