41. OneSim VoIP
    • Do I need to have a OneSimCard SIM card installed in my phone to use OneSim VoIP?

      No. OneSimCard SIM is not required to be installed in the phone for OneSim VoIP to be used. However, you do need to have OneSimCard account with a VoIP capable PEN.
42. OneSim VoIP
    • When I make a call using OneSim VoIP the quality of the call is not as good as the quality of the regular roaming connection. Can this be improved?

      The quality of a OneSim VoIP call is only defined by the quality of your Wi-Fi connection. This is the part of the connection that we can not control. Quality of the Wi-Fi connection is defined by many parameters, rather than just by the speed of the connection. With a good Wi-Fi connection the quality of the call will be similar to using our regular roaming network.

    • Can I check my Voice Mail from a phone other than my OneSimCard phone?

      Yes. You can access the Voice Mail from other phones.

      First you need to set up a voicemail password by either calling from your OneSimCard phone or logging in to your account and clicking on the Voicemail link.

      Once the password is set up, you can dial voice mail access number:

      Toll Free access number for customers in the U.S. or Canada to retrieve voicemail for free: 1-866-703-4770

      Local U.S. number for worldwide customers to retrieve voicemail: 1-213-805-2905

      New Online Voicemail Feature: You can now listen to voicemail for free by logging in to your account and clicking on the Voicemail link. There, you can also set voicemail to be emailed to you as an audio file and change passwords and other settings.

      IMPORTANT NOTE: Voicemail messages will be automatically purged from your inbox after one month, so please be sure to save the content of any important messages before they are deleted.
44. How To Use Questions
    • Can I use OneSimCard data (GPRS) service on my BlackBerry?

      Yes! We do offer data (GPRS) service on BlackBerry devices from models 8000 and up. This is separate from BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) & Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES). Emails can not be pushed to the phone and BlackBerry Web Applications and Messenger will not work. However, access to web-based emails like Gmail and Yahoo as well as Internet browsing will work.


45. How To Use Questions
    • How do I make a call using OneSimCard global cell phone service?

      To make a call:
      • Dial 00-CountryCode-AreaCode-Number and press the TALK/SEND button.
        Example: To call OneSimCard Support in the USA you would dial 00 1 617 3138888 and press TALK/SEND.
      With Europe & More SIM that does not use the callback to make a call, you will just get connected.

      With OneSimCard Plus SIM or Expedition (formerly Data & Roam) SIM:

      After pressing the TALK/SEND button you will see a variable message on the screen (for example 'Wait for call') which you can ignore and your phone will ring back in a few seconds. Answer this ring as you normally would answer any incoming call. Your call will then be connected.

46. Rates and Cost Questions
    • How can people call and text me for free using the OneSimCard Connect app?

      OneSimCard Connect is a free app for Apple iOS devices that lets people call and text your OneSimCard-enabled phone at ZERO cost to them. Please note that your OneSimCard balance will be charged to receive these calls at the standard incoming call rate for the country you are in, plus an additional 20c/min. Receiving text messages sent from the app is absolutely free.

      Example 1: you are in China where incoming calls are free and someone calls you using OneSimCard Connect. It will be free for the caller and you will be charged 20c/min

      Example 2: you are in Brazil where incoming calls are 35c/min and someone calls you using OneSimCard Connect. It will be free for the caller and you will be charged 55c/min

      PLEASE NOTE: You must enable this feature from your online account's My SIM Cards menu in order for people to be able to use the app to contact you.

    • Can I transfer my phone numbers and balance from my standard OneSimCard SIM when I upgrade to a OneSimCard Plus SIM or other SIM card?

      • We can move your airtime balance from your standard SIM to the Plus, Europe, Universal or Expedition SIM or otherwise as a one time courtesy. 
      • We can move your Personal Extra Number from your Standard SIM to any other SIM card as a one-time courtesy.
      • We can transfer your primary +372 number from your Standard SIM to the Plus SIM if you ordered special replacement SIM here
      • We can transfer your primary +372 number from your Standard SIM, Plus SIM or World eSIM to eSIM if you ordered special replacement SIM here
48. Ordering Questions
    • Can I upgrade my Standard SIM to a Universal SIM or my regular size SIM to a micro or nano SIM?

      Yes. If you would like to upgrade your Standard version SIM card to a Universal SIM card, or upgrade a regular size SIM card to a micro-SIM card (for example, to use in an iPhones) then place your order online by selecting the product option on our Mobile Accessories page here. In the shopping cart you will be able to select your upgrade and number transfer options.

49. Ordering Questions
    • Do international cell phones purchased from OneSimCard come with a warranty?

      Unless otherwise noted, all phones sold on OneSimCard.com come with our standard 90-day replacement warranty. This warranty covers any mechanical defects, but does not include damage due to acts of god, neglect, water damage, or other intentional or unintentional abuses of the phone. OneSimCard does offer currently extended warranties available for purchase.
50. Ordering Questions
    • Do I need to activate the SIM card when my order is received or purchased from a retail store?

      Yes, you will need to activate the SIM card once the order is received.

      All OneSimCard international SIM cards and international cell phones with SIM cards are shipped inactive to prevent theft and improve security. Only the person who placed the order for OneSimCard service can activate it.

      Activation is very simple: When you receive the SIM, just log in to your account at www.OneSimCard.com and click the large Activate button you will see in the middle of the screen.

      Retail Customers: If you purchased your SIM card through an online or brick-and-mortar retail store, you should have received activation instructions inside the product packaging. To activate retail SIM cards, go to www.OneSimCard.com/Retail enter your new OneSimCard international mobile number and fill out the form to register and activate the SIM card.
