51. eSIM
    • How do I top up my data with eSIM?

There are two ways you can do this:

      1. From your mobile go to ma.onesimcard.com. This provides the access to your free OneSimCard mini account. Free means that there is no need to have the SIM balance or data package on the SIM to be able to access this page in over 110 countries. Log in to your account and activate a new data package.

      2. From any computer log in to your on-line account at OneSimCard.com to order a data package.
52. OneSimCard Rentals
    • How do I purchase additional airtime?

The phone will come with $5 of initial airtime. There are three ways to purchase additional airtime.
      1. You can buy the airtime on-line by logging into your account at www.onesimcard.com. Your account will be created automatically when we ship you the phone.
      2. You can set up an auto-recharge which will automatically add value to your existing balance once it goes below a predetermined balance.
      3. You can use your Global Mobile Phone, by submitting a recharge order from the handset. Your credit card on file will be charged and the airtime will be added instantly.
53. OneSimCard Rentals
    • How does the global cell phone rental program work?

It's actually quite simple to rent a OneSimCard international cell phone phone bundle to use during your travels. Just tell us the date you need the phone and we'll ship a complete package directly to your door. Your package will include a mobile phone programmed with an international phone number, extra battery, charger, international travel plug adapter, holster, OneSimCard User Guide, $5 worth of initial airtime, and a US Mail return envelope. When you return from your trip, simply return the package in the envelope provided - just add postage.

Update: As of March 5, 2018, all rentals come with a prepaid USPS Priority Mail return label. Simply attach it to the provided return envelope with your rentals inside and drop it off at the nearest post office. It’s that easy!

When you tell us the country of your travel, we will select the SIM card type for you that offers the lowest calling rates in this country.

54. OneSim VoIP
    • How do I know if the Personal Extra Number (PEN) I currently have is OneSim VoIP compatible?

Log in to your OneSimCard account, go to the My Sim Cards menu and scroll down. If your PEN is VoIP compatible you will see an option to create a OneSim VoIP account. At this time all OneSimCard PENs are SIM VOIP capable except for UK Mobile numbers.
55. OneSim VoIP
    • Does voicemail work with OneSim VoIP?

Yes. If you are not available to answer the OneSim VoIP call or if the OneSim VoIP app is turned off, the call will be routed through our standard roaming network. If the call is not answered it will be sent to your OneSimCard voicemail box.

    • Do you offer an eSIM option for iPhones, Androids or Tablets?

Yes. The OneSimCard eSIM option is available for use with iOS and Android phones, smart watches and even Windows tablets.

57. OneSimCard Rentals
    • When do you consider the rental package as having been returned?

You should ship the package back to us through the US Postal service using the label and envelope that came in your original package.

As of March 5, 2018, all rentals come with a prepaid USPS Priority Mail return label. Simply attach it to the provided return envelope with your rentals inside and drop it off at the nearest post office. It’s that easy!

The post office will scan the label. The date the package is scanned is considered the rental's return date. Thus you will not be charged rental fees for the days after the package is scanned to be shipped back to OneSimCard.
58. OneSimCard Rentals
    • What if I return the Rental Package, but some of the items are missing or damaged?

You will be charged for missing or damaged items in the package. The cost of the replacement items is provided in the packing slip of the rental package.

To avoid paying replacement costs, consider purchasing a rental insurance. View full terms and conditions here.
59. OneSimCard Rentals
    • How can I set up the Personal Extra Number (PEN) on my rental order?

Once your order is processed and shipped, you will receive a notification email. At this point, you can log in to your account and:
      1. Activate your SIM card(s) (you should wait to activate until after you receive the package)
      2. Once the SIM is activated, you can set up the PEN. You will see the link on the screen in the Recharge Menu. The PEN activation is done instantly.

If you activate the Free US PEN and your travel is under 30 days, it will stay active for the duration of your travel. If you will be traveling for more than 30 days and require the use of the PEN beyond 30 days, you must renew your PEN for a fee before it expires.

Alternatively, you can order a PEN in your local area or in another country if you require one.

60. OneSim VoIP
    • How does OneSim VoIP work when the call is received?

When someone dials your OneSim VoIP enabled Personal Extra Number (PEN), the system will first check if your OneSimCard phone is registered with the OneSim VoIP app on a Wi-Fi network. If it is registered, the call will be sent using VoIP. If the OneSim VoIP app is not running or it is not registered on a Wi-Fi network, then the call will be sent using the standard OneSimCard roaming network and charged our standard roaming rates.
